Can I bring my own food?
No – There are food stalls available and snack foods at the Defqon.1 Essential Store. All items at the Defqon.1 Essential Store will be reasonably priced.

Are the showers hot?
Yes – and they will be available the both nights and in the morning before Defqon.1.

Can we light a fire?
No – although there will be a bonfire in the communal area to keep you warm and toasty.

Our group has one less person than can fit in a tent…. Does that mean we only pay for 3?
Unfortunately, when you pay for the package, you pay for all of the spots in a tent (or tepee), so it's best to find that extra friend.

Will we be able to swim?
No – no matter how warm it gets, swimming in the lake is not permitted at any time.

Can we move our tent closer to our friends?
No – once a tent has been set up, it cannot be moved. The best bet is to arrive with your friends and find two tepees together.

Will my tokens work at the campsite?
The tokens you buy during the festival will be valid at the bar on the campsite. The night before the festival, you will need to bring cash to use at the bar and market.

Will there be an ATM on site?
No, but you will be able to use EFTPOS at the bar. We recommend that you bring some cash with you though, to save you the trouble.

Will I be able to charge my phone?
Yes, there will be a free phone recharging station at the campsite.

Is there a safe place for my valuables?
No. Best thing to do is not bring any; if you must then keep them with you at all times.
